Common Questions

  • I have trouble opening and printing documents in MS Office!

    Answer: If "Protected mode" is activated, all files (which you click on in the browser and open) will be opened in a read-only view. This means that you can not edit the files.

    You can deactivate protected mode from Microsoft Office 2010:

    1. Start a Microsoft Office program (such as Word).
    2. Click on the File menu "File" and select "Options".
    3. In the "Options" dialog box, select "Security Center" in the left panel.
    4. Click "Security Center Settings" in the right panel.
    5. Select "Protected view".
    6. Turn off the protected view options by unchecking the boxes.
    7. Click "OK".

    NOTE: To deactivate protected view for all programs from Microsoft 2010, you must repeat the procedure above for each program included in Microsoft Office.

  • How do I change the language in ProjectCoordinator?

    Answer: Under "My functions-> My settings". Follow the instructions in the ProjectCoordinator Online Help, which can be found here: My Settings | ProjectCoordinator.

  • How do I upload a document to the portal?

    Answer: You can upload files via the "Upload files" button. More about how to upload files is described in the Online Help for "Documents" under the heading "Upload Documents" which you can find here: Documents | ProjectCoordinator.

  • How do I change access rights to folders and documents in ProjectCoordinator?

    Answer: How to change access rights is described in the "Documents" Online Help under the "Edit Document Properties" heading. Follow the instructions in the ProjectCoordinator Online Help, which can be found here: Documents | ProjectCoordinator.

  • How do I add a new user?

    Answer: How to add a new user is described in the online help for "Administration/Portal administration" under the heading "Add new users to a room". Follow the instructions in the ProjectCoordinator Online Help, which can be found here: Portal Administration | ProjectCoordinator.

  • I have forgotten my password. What should I do?

    Answer: There is a button, "Forgot password", at the bottom of the login box for your portal.
    Click on that button and type in the e-mail address you use to log in, and click on "Send", and a new password will be sent out. If you can not find the email in your inbox, look in the spam filter/spam folder.
