Designtech cooperates with Easit Infrastructure AB in order to offer you professional hosting of our products with high security and access.

The information on your portal is stored in encrypted format on a SAN, which is kept safely and securely in a server room with very high physical security (fire and theft) and advanced climate control. In order to guarantee a continuous supply of electricity, other than the back-up battery and a diesel-driven generator, there are two separate incoming electrical cables. The server also has an automatic surveillance alarm, firewall and double Internet connections.

DATACENTER SECURITY

Building staffed with security personnel 24x7. Key card entrance at DataCenter corridor. Limited staff access to server rooms. Access logging on all key card doors.

• 24X7 MONITORING
  Monitoring all systems 24x7, all mission critical systems with 24x7 engineering response.
• FIRE
  Fault-tolerant air conditioning system with humidity regulation. HI-FOG fire protection system with multiple zones, central control, and a laser particle analyzer detection system.
• POWER SUPPLY
  Dual electrical connections from independent substations and a UPS system in conjunction with backup generator to avoid power failure.
• NETWORK
  Multiple, fault-tolerant upstream fiber connections. Multi-homed network with BGP-advertised address space and connections to multiple Tier-1 providers. Fully redundant core switches, routers, utilizing 802.1w rapid spanning tree protocol (RSTP) for split-second failover and high availability.
• SERVER ARCHITECTURE
  Fully virtual server based on VMware Infrastructure 3.0 Enterprise Edition including VMotion. The virtual server is powered by at least two separate physical hardware to ensure high availability of the virtual server. The virtual server is powered by Debian Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL.
  The VMware-farm is connected to an enterprise storage system (SAN) based on HP StorageWorks 4000 Enterprise Virtual Arrays through a redundant 2Gbit/s FiberChannel solution. All of the virtual servers is located on the SAN.
• FIREWALLS
  Fault-tolerant High Availability (HA) firewall solution based on Juniper NetScreen 25.
• BACKUP
  Backup according to the backup definition every day to a separate RAID-system in the DataCenter, once a week the backup is read into the archives for a month. The archives are located in a different building at a distance of approximately 2 000 m from the DataCenter.
